2024 Dates and Rates

Pricing is per person for a standard lodge room. Lodge rooms sleep up to 6 people. If you'd like a larger accommodation, please see the "Larger Family Accommodations" rates below. No charge for children ages 2 and under. There will be a 1.9% lodging tax added per person that isn't reflected in the camp fees below.
Ride Age Restrictions - Trail Ride: for ages 8 and above / Ropes Course: for ages 4 and above / Whitewater Rafting: for ages 6 and above under normal water conditions (rafting is the only additional per person fee associated with camp if your family chooses to participate).
Scholarship Opportunities - At this time all 2024 scholarships have been awarded.
Rates are subject to change - We have done our best to forecast expense increases and changes in the economy between now and summer 2024 but, with the uncertainty, we will continue to evaluate rates. Once a reservation is made and a deposit paid then the rates at that time are locked in.

Transportation to Trail West
Each family is responsible for their own transportation to and from Trail West. We encourage a family road trip or flying into Colorado. There are two airports closest to us, Colorado Springs airport (2 hours from Trail West) or the Denver Airport (3 hours from Trail West). Once you arrive in Colorado, families can rent a car and have it for the week (there isn't a rental car return in Buena Vista, CO).

Priority Booking (for Area Directors/Champions)
Begins on January 9th, 2023
Priority booking for Young Life Area Directors/Champions begins at 8:30am Mountain Time on Monday, January 9th, 2023. See priority booking guidelines listed below. Not familiar with the Trail West Champion program? Click here for more information.
Booking: Rooms can be booked with a $1,000 non-refundable deposit/room. No limit to the number of rooms, subject to availability. Area Director/Champion pays all deposits and then has individual families call in to give family information. Deposits are subject to cancellation policy.
All rooms booked by Champions with a deposit must have individual family reservations made by November 1, 2023.
Courtesy Holds: Rooms can be placed on courtesy hold to allow families to call in and book with a deposit. Repeat champions can hold up to 150% of the number of rooms booked their last visit. New champions can hold up to 6 rooms (including their own). If all rooms on hold are booked, additional rooms can be placed on hold subject to availability.
Courtesy holds placed during priority booking expire on Friday March 3rd, 2023. Once General Booking begins, Area Directors/Champions can book and hold rooms using the same guidelines for priority booking. However, courtesy holds will vary from one week to only 24 hours depending on availability and demand.

General Booking (Deposit and Cancellation Policy)
Begins on March 13th, 2023
Phones will open at 8:30am Mountain Time on Monday, March 13th, 2023 for general booking. Rooms can be booked with a $1,000 non-refundable deposit subject to the cancellation policy. There is no limit to the number of rooms that can be booked, subject to availability. Full payment is due by February 1st, 2024.
Deposit Policy: A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is due upon booking a room. Full payment is due by February 1st, 2024.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your room before February 1st, 2024, you forfeit the $1,000 deposit. If you cancel your room after February 1st, 2024, your full payment is non-refundable. In either situation, if Trail West is fully booked for your week & therefore, can rebook the room, you will be refunded all except a $500 cancellation penalty. The $500 cancellation penalty is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be converted into a donation.
