Frequently Asked Questions

Who can stay at Trail West?
Our summer family vacations are open to anyone who wishes to attend.
From mid-August to mid-May, retreats and conferences at Trail West are available to Young Life groups, non-profit organizations, community and civic organizations, churches, pastors, counseling services and a small number of corporate groups.

Due to our tax status (Young Life is a 501C, non-profit organization) almost all of our business must come from non-profit organizations.  We are only allowed a small percentage of taxable business during the year.  Regrettably, we are not able to accommodate groups and individuals seeking family reunions, hotel type accommodations and private parties.

What is the cost for a retreat or conference and what does my group receive for that cost?
Retreat and conference costs are based upon a per person, per night charge.  A guaranteed minimum size of the group is determined by what your group chooses to reserve.  The guaranteed minimum cost is based upon these two figures.  The cost includes all lodging, meals, meeting room and general facility use.

Small groups are a perfect fit at Trail West.  We offer a wide range of housing options based upon the exact size of your group.

Meals don't always have to be provided if you are looking to lower the cost of your retreat.  Each one of our condos and chalets has a fully furnished kitchen which your group can easily use to prepare its own meals.
